Public bug reported: When a user's home directory is not in /home Firefox will not start. If I try to start Firefox from the command line the following message is output.
Sorry, home directories outside of /home are not currently supported. See https://forum.snapcraft.io/t/11209 for details. It appears this is a result of the decision to use Snap to install Firefox. If so then this shouldn't have happened until the limitation on Snap had been removed.
