Title: Gnome3 Control Centre Launcher icon does not correctly represent which panel is currently open Status in Ayatana Design: Triaged Status in BAMF Application Matching Framework: In Progress Status in GNOME Control Center: Fix Released Status in “bamf” package in Ubuntu: In Progress Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: 1) Open the wallpaper panel in gnome3 control center by searching unity dash for "Background". (right-click desktop "Change Desktop Background" does not exhibit this behaviour) 2) Shows up in launcher as application "Background", with wallpaper icon. 3) Click "All Settings" at top left of window. 4) Click some other settings panel (such as "Backup" or "Keyboard") 5) The launcher item is still "Background" with a wallpaper icon, which no longer has any relation to what's in the window. ------------------- Desired solution: - Detect which panel is opened and adjust the Launcher icon accordingly.
