The easiest way to trigger the crash was to visit Launchpad. Thai language support was not listed in Firefox, nor in the system Languages settings. I did have some Thai support installed though, such as Thai input. I installed Thai support fully using the system Languages settings, and the crashes kept happening. I then uninstalled Thai support using the system Languages settings and the crashes appear to have stopped.
