You have been subscribed to a public bug: Terminal showed me how to install the missing dependencies and I was able to follow that and get Firefox working by myself. I'd have thought sorting missing dependencies ought to have been built in to the upgrade program instead of coming up with a worrying report that the upgrade had failed
