1. Opened a local file in Chromium 107.0.5304.62 , file:///home/nteodosio/a.html. 2. Opened the Chromium console with Ctrl+Shift+i. 3. Entered document.lastModified and verified that the output was both correct and did not change with time.

Firefox shows 2016-07-18 17:36:12 for my document whereas Chromium for the same document now shows 2016-07-18 17:46:36, a time that changes every time the page is loaded.
