The fix for this specific issue was
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/merge_requests/845/diffs?commit_id=822c0ebc6889f90f19b5fc3056414cae5046e2b8

but we can't reintroduce it until a general solution for
https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/-/issues/2328 exists again.

Bug description:
  When using fractional scaling, the mouse cursor is blurry in some
  applications. Notably, this includes Settings and Nautilus. See the
  two screenshots for comparison.

  I'm on Ubuntu 22.10 on Wayland.
