Screen sharing works till next machine reboot. After reboot the password entry is cleared in the settings and cannot connect anymore. The following line appears in syslog: May 15 09:53:37 alpha gnome-remote-de[1512]: Couldn't retrieve VNC password: Password not set Setting the password again in settings solves the problem... but this isn't very helpful on a machine which is meant to run headless.
