Title:
resize grip in terminals obscures text

Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
  Invalid
Status in “gnome-terminal” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
I've configured my shell (zsh) to display the current hostname on the
right, bottom side of a terminal window. In gnome-terminal this text
is partly obscured by the resize grip. It would be nice to disable the
  resize grip on gnome-terminal.
