Bug description:
Since upgrading xdg-desktop-portal-gnome to 44~beta-1, it fails to
startup (along with xdg-desktop-portal as well) - downgrading to
43.1-2 fixes the issue. As a result of this launching any GTK
application seems to take ~25 seconds - I assume that GTK or some such
is trying to contact the portal backend over dbus and then eventually
timing out.
