[Expired for gnome-shell (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60 days.]
** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Status: Incomplete => Expired -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gnome-shell in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1728591 Title: search bar doesn't get the focus Status in gnome-shell package in Ubuntu: Expired Bug description: When I start typing in the activities overview screen I should type into the upper search box. However, sometimes after I press super or super+A (just because I have no activities button in the top-left corner) and I start typing, all my typed characters goes into the currently focused window. Even if I have noticed that I didn't type into the correct location, I was unable to click the search bar to get it focused, because (sometimes) all the overview window gets closed by this click.
