Public bug reported:

Note that this *could* be the Linux kernel or GRUB doing this, but I'm
not sure and Plymouth seems like a possible culprit, thus why it's
getting the report.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Download and boot any one of the Lunar Final ISOs on a BIOS system.
2. Install Ubuntu and reboot into the installed system.
3. Observe the console output during bootup.

Expected result: If any errors show up on the screen, they should be
non-alarming and look easily ignorable.

Actual result: The following two somewhat alarming errors appear on the
screen:

error: no server is specified.
error: no suitable video mode found.

The system then proceeds to boot up and everything appears normal.

This has been happening for a while, and I dismissed it as being
possibly related to the VM software I was using. However I was able to
reproduce it on physical hardware (an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop) today and
so thought it was worth a bug report.
