FWIW it works fine on KDE: the reminder can be minimized and put behind the main TB window.

It's really annoying, the window is always on top of Thunderbird and has to be constantly moved around to use the program. Closing the window makes no sense as a) it tends to start syncing the events with reminders, which can show conflict prompts requiring even more work from the user and b) the window comes back very quickly. So, minimize makes the most sense. --- ProblemType: Bug ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu21 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: GNOME DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 EcryptfsInUse: Yes InstallationDate: Installed on 2017-10-12 (903 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 17.10 "Artful Aardvark" - Beta amd64 (20171011) NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: mutter 3.36.0-2ubuntu1 PackageArchitecture: amd64 ProcEnviron: TERM=xterm-256color PATH=(custom, no user) XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=<set> LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-18.22-generic 5.4.24 Tags: focal Uname: Linux 5.4.0-18-generic x86_64 UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to focal on 2020-03-26 (7 days ago) UserGroups: audio cdrom dialout kvm lpadmin sudo vboxusers video _MarkForUpload: True To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1869470/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages Post to : desktop-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~desktop-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
