This might be the Nvidia bug that upstream says was fixed by switching
to software rendering decorations in 44.1. Keep an eye out to see if the
crash reports stop after 44.1 is released.

mutter.  This problem was most recently seen with package version 
44~rc-1ubuntu3, the problem page at
