Title:
The background in the monitor image in appearance shouldn't be visible

Status in GNOME Control Center:
  Unknown
Status in “light-themes” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  From this screen:
  http://blog.didrocks.fr/public/ubuntu/gnome_control_center_unity1.png looks
like the background of the monitor image is not properly transparent.

  It currently uses:
  /usr/share/gnome-control-center/ui/background/display-base.png
  and this as overlay:
  /usr/share/gnome-control-center/ui/background/display-overlay.png

As a matter of fact the assets seem transparent. What is causing the
  issue?
