I can work around this problem with this:
export MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=i965
(then running mythfrontend works fine)
sorry for the lack of debug symbols in iris_dri.so
if there is a .deb around with a debug version i can generate the traceback
again
not sure if the problem belongs to iris_dri.so or to mythfrontend but I put
it here due to the workaround.
