Oh, by the way... do you have a reproducible test case?

I've seen this behavior many times, but never investigated to understand
what happens _exactly_ under the hood. Now I'd like to dig a bit deeper.

  Pressing control+c makes the terminal stop responding and not
  displaying the current text( press up arrow etc )

  Hello. gnome-terminal is with a bug that sometimes it just stop
  working. all i see is the blinking tilling and nothing else happens.

  I'm on ubuntu 24.04.01

  fresh intall( not vm ) 
  no changes were made to the terminal or any configuration regarding it..
