no audio on HP USB-C Dock G5 (03f0:056b)

Bug description:
The USB Analog Audio output on a HP USB-C Dock G5 (03f0:056b) does not work
anymore on 24.04.
It used to work without problem on 22.04.
There is no error in the logs, the VUmeters are normal in pavucontrol
(moving) but there is just no sound at all. The output name is "USB Audio
Analog Stereo".
I have tried on a fresh install of 24.04 as well as on a Live version of the
OS, same problem.
In pavucontrol, I have tried all available options in the configuration tab
for USB audio (Analog, Digital, duplex, output only, Pro Audio, ...) but
without success.
