Public bug reported:
The process
gjs /usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]/app/ding.js -E -P
/usr/share/gnome-shell/extensions/[email protected]/app
takes 100% of CPU time after fresh Ubuntu 24.04.1 installation! CPU is heated
and cooler makes noise just because of this one app.
Killing process does not help as it respawns, and takes 100% cpu again. The
only fix is uninstall this app immediately.
P.S.
I have zero files in my ~/Desktop folder.
I closed all GUI apps except firefox and gnome-terminal.
Fresh installation with format / root partition, but with old /home.
