This issue is still persisting. I have tried deleting my .libreoffice
folder and reinstalling libreoffice. Still happening. Conversely a fresh
install of the daily build in virtualbox seems to be working fine, calc,
writer and impress all open fine. So what is wrong with my physical
install which has just been upgraded as updates have been coming out?

Title:
Unable to Open ANY Libre Office Apps in 12.04

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Since the latest updates I am unable to open any libreoffice apps. The
splash screen starts up then a few seconds later disappears. When i
run from cli I get this:

   /usr/bin/soffice

Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path:
  "pixmap",

Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path:
  "pixmap",

Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path:
  "pixmap",

Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path:
  "pixmap",

Yet I don't think those messages are any indication to where the
problem is as I get them when opening many apps.
