AFAIK this has been fixed for a long long while. The code paths to deal
with modems isn't even the same at all anymore, so regardless any issues
with the ZTE MF627/MF628 should be tackled in a new bug report.

I'll close this one as Fix Released since that's also how the upstream
bug report was closed. Thanks!

  I installed the alpha 5 of ubuntu intrepid, which uses the kernel 2.6.27 
where the modem driver is included. But with the Network-manager(version 0.7) I 
can't connect this modem.

  The modem works if I connect manually
  First I used this command: "sudo modprobe usbserial vendor=0x19d2 
product=0x0015"
