Title: Segmentation fault on closing layers/channels/path/undo dock. Status in “gimp” package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: Ordinarily, the layers/channels/path/undo dock may be closed without affecting work. Lately, doing so invariably results in abrupt crash of application. Invoking gimp from terminal emulator, program crash is reported thusly: (script-fu:3698): LibGimpBase-WARNING **: script-fu: gimp_wire_read(): error Segmentation fault Update to kernel or libraries within past week highly suspect. Erased and reinstalled entire system, before any further configuration, tested gimp as described above, performed normally. Then ran Update Manager, tested again, encountered problem.
