  Ubuntu 11.10, Libreoffice 3.4.4
  When you add a 3D ogltrans transition under the transitions pane,the effects 
do not appear in the
  presentation or in the animation preview, and the presentation continues as 
though the effect was not added. The standard 2D effects however still work.
