I only had Google Chrome - Latest Stable open and I attempted to open the chat window (not the contacts menu) from the applications menu on the Ubuntu 12.04 beta.
If it helps, I am also getting quite a bit of graphical lag accompanying the crash when it happens to the extent that other apps freeze until the application crashes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to gtk+3.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/814019 Title: epiphany/empathy-chat crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_widget_hide() Status in Chat app, and Telepathy user interface: New Status in “gtk+3.0” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: I group the tabs (IRC + XMPP) and crash.
