  eth0 refuses to go up after connecting wirelessly via eth1

Status in “network-manager” package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
  basically it. every new kernel release, I can connect via wired
  connection, however, as soon as I connect via wireless, a wired
  connection refuses to go live.
