  Closing laptop lid does not suspend

Status in “gnome-settings-daemon” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  I can't pinpoint exactly when this started (or rather, stopped)
  happening, but at some time in the last week suspend on lid close
  stopped working for me, in spite of the settings in the Power applet.
