Public bug reported:

I have Caps Locked mapped to Control through the 'Keyboard Layout'
section in 'System Settings'. Whenever the gnome-settings-daemon
package is upgraded this mapping gets lost. If I logout, reboot or
change the mapping to something else and back again it comes back.

** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
