Hi Bryce,

Two issues. The first is that the monitor has the wrong default rate. This
means that the display is off to the side and bits of the screen are
missing. If you know what you are doing, you can change the refresh rate
directly through the terminal, but it does not stick after reboot.

The second thing is that there is no way, so far as I can see, of changing
the refresh rate through the display option as there was with Lucid. With
Lucid you could change the refresh rate in this way and it would then stick
after a reboot.

Thanks for your work, Mark

Title:
Precise unable to change wrong refresh rate

Status in “gnome-desktop” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
On certain monitors, Precise wrongly detects the refresh rate and the display
is unusable. Changing this is not easy because the Display settings no longer
offer the possibility to change this rate. Refresh rate can be changed through
terminal window (xrandr -r 75 or whatever refresh rate you want) however this
change is not permanent.
