Rui Barreiros , thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. However, your crash report is missing. Please follow these instructions to have apport report a new bug about your crash that can be dealt with by the automatic retracer. One may execute at the Terminal: sudo apt-get -y install python2.6-dbg && sudo service apport start force_start=1
If you are running the Ubuntu Stable Release you might need to enable apport in /etc/default/apport and restart. Now reproduce the crash, then open your file manager, navigate to your /var/crash directory and open the crash report you wish to submit. If this fails you will have to open a terminal and file your report with 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash' where _my_crash_report.crash is the crash you would like to report. If you get an error that you aren't allowed to access this report you will have to file it with 'sudo ubuntu-bug /var/crash/_my_crash_report.crash'. I'm closing this bug report since the process outlined above will automatically open a new bug report which can then dealt with more efficiently. Thanks in advance for your cooperation and understanding. ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to libreoffice in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/953280 Title: uno in lucid with 3.5.0 throws InvalidRegistryException Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Description: Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS Release: 10.04 ii libreoffice-base 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- database ii libreoffice-base-core 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- shared library ii libreoffice-calc 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- spreadsheet ii libreoffice-common 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- arch-independen ii libreoffice-core 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- arch-dependent ii libreoffice-dev 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- SDK ii libreoffice-draw 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- drawing ii libreoffice-emailmerge 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- email mail merg ii libreoffice-impress 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- presentation ii libreoffice-java-common 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- arch-independen ii libreoffice-math 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- equation editor ii libreoffice-style-human 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- Human symbol st ii libreoffice-writer 1:3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 office productivity suite -- word processor ii uno-libs3 3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 LibreOffice UNO runtime environment -- publi ii ure 3.5.0-2ubuntu1~lucid1 LibreOffice UNO runtime environment Problem: Python 2.6.5 (r265:79063, Apr 16 2010, 13:57:41) [GCC 4.4.3] on linux2 Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information. >>> import uno terminate called after throwing an instance of 'com::sun::star::registry::InvalidRegistryException' Aborted Expected behaviour would be to load uno without any message or error.
