When I set the proxy-settings manual it works. It also works with the Chrome-Browser. Websites inside our network work. You could reproduce it by: Set the system wide proxy-settings in gnome. Change your proxy-settings in firefox: Edit > Preferences > Network > Settings > "Use system proxy settings" Only internal websites works with this configuration...
