Hi! Sorry for the delayed response, but attached please find the .odb
involved as well as an .ogv video of me demonstrating the problem.
While I was doing this I observed that the Relationships tool apparently
does not have anything to do with the problem- it looks like the primary
key just does not get set on saving the "Ppl" table for some reason.
I apologize for having muddied the waters before- I should have checked
that the primary key actually got set before trying to relate things.

Title:
Can't set relations, primary key spontaneously unset

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
When attempting to set relations between three tables: table 3 primary key
is unset after opening Relations window (after being set in Design View).
Setting relation between tables 1 and 2 works, but yields error message (would
have pasted it here, but it was in an alert window that went away and I can't
find LibreOffice's error log if one exists) having to do with mismatch between
field types (both are SmallInt). Relation apparently set anyway: 1:n line drawn
as expected in Relations window. Relation between tables 1 and 3 fails due to
table 3's lack of primary key.
On closing the Relations window, chose "No" at prompt to save relations. Back
in Design View, reset table 3's primary key. On returning to Relations window,
table 3 primary key unset again, and relation between tables 1 and 2 persists
despite choosing "No" at the aforementioned dialog. Repeated this process 3
times with identical result.
