  python2.7 crashed with SIGSEGV in
  gst_type_find_factory_call_function()

Bug description:
  I was trying to encod dat file using Transmageddon 0.16 to Mp4, when i tried 
to select a file form vcd of about 235 mb size it took a long time and then 
error was shown of crash
  its ubuntu 11.10 on hpprobook 4420s
