However, while Pidgin and volume control and brightness control and such use it, my Thunderbird mail client is not using the indicator applet. I was under the impression that this indicator applet would show when one had incoming mail, and even show the amount of mail you have waiting for you. This does not seem to be the case with Thunderbird. This is a request for support for the indicator applet in Thunderbird.
