** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 433651 Chat window grows beyond screen bounds - no text wrap when typing in the message entry ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 903779 When typing more than one line in a room or in chat the window will enlarge towards the downward -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/685951 Title: Group chat window jumps and stretches Status in “empathy” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Binary package hint: empathy Open a group chat from a GTalk account (I haven't tried this with any other type of accounts) and maximise the group chat window. Type a long line of text on the text area. The window will soon begin to jump back and forth with every character typed. Now unmaximise the window, then keep on typing. You will notice that the window will become wider and wider with every character typed. None of this should happen, and none of it happens on normal chat windows.
