Happy New Year. Apologies for the delay in getting this release out.
We would like to get this going and wrap this up in a month as it is long
due. Let us target to get all the patches in by Jan 25 and branch and
hopefully have a release candidate out for voting by first week of Feb. If
you would like any patches to be in the release or help with some of the
patches, please comment on the respective jiras.
