Hi, Tried to build and and install b2g using dual boot, but at the end just see black screen with "mozilla" on the right bottom corner. Also volume button shows line at the top and "long power" shows full screen menu (airplane mode/silence/restart/power off). Look like I am missing something very small and last thing :)
Would love to test it on my device, please help if anyone interested. What I did: 1. Got Siyah (NoSwap) and Semi v18 ROM for primary boot (post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1650948) 2. Prepared environment for Ubuntu 12.10 x64: gcc 4.6, linked libX11.so/libGL.so (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Boot_to_Gecko/Firefox_OS_build_prerequisites?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Mozilla%2FBoot_to_Gecko%2FB2G_build_prerequisites) 3. ./config.sh galaxy-s2 4. Added firmware in supported list: [b2g]/device/samsung/galaxys2/extract-files.sh "Semi v18 UCLE5 Base") FIRMWARE=UCLE5 ;; 5. built, flashed and installed gaia (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Boot_to_Gecko/Dual_boot_of_B2G_and_Android_on_SGS2) Some suspicious logs: I/Gecko (10492): Logging GL tracing output to /system/b2g/firefox.trace I/Gecko (10492): Attempting load of /data/local/egltrace.so I/Gecko (10492): Attempting load of libEGL.so D/libEGL (10492): loaded /system/lib/egl/libEGL_mali.so D/libEGL (10492): loaded /system/lib/egl/libGLESv1_CM_mali.so D/libEGL (10492): loaded /system/lib/egl/libGLESv2_mali.so D/ (10492): Device driver API match D/ (10492): Device driver API version: 10 D/ (10492): User space API version: 10 D/ (10492): mali: REVISION=Linux-r2p4-02rel0 BUILD_DATE=Mon Mar 5 09:47:55 KST 2012 W/ (10492): hwcomposer module not found E/HWComposer(10492): Failed to initialize hwc E/GeckoConsole(10492): OpenGL LayerManager Initialized Succesfully.
