+fxos-perf

We noticed increased load times for all apps besides browser on datazilla and
are tracking that via bug 889390
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=880390 Dave Hunt from the A-Team
is looking into a marionette change that may be the cause.

James,
Are you seeing sluggish performance with marionette integration enabled or
disabled?

Subject: [b2g] v1-train slowness

I have been away for a bit, so just getting back into things, and
yesterday did a b2g update via:

BRANCH=v1-train VARIANT=eng ./config.sh unagi
BRANCH=v1-train VARIANT=eng ./build.sh

and then I install gaia master. All actions on the device seem slow,
and I do not think it is just my device, judging from:

https://datazilla.mozilla.org/b2g#closedataset

Looking back on June 4 at the gaia master commits, I do not see
anything that may explain it:
https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/compare/61440e3abaf2d94aa4146c9638ec9f99ab19be3e...02cd2ff72882862c6c707d4250e049f0210414c9#diff-46

I commented out the window_manager.js change in that set but that did
not seem to help.

Given that it all actions, not just startup, seem to be affected, my
first guess would be a change in the b2g code, but looking here:
https://tbpl.mozilla.org/?tree=Mozilla-B2g18

nothing sticks out there for June 4. Although I am new to reading that
page, and maybe the change that causes the slowness would not be
tracked there.

So is there something different for unagi that is causing this? Maybe
I am not using a recommended build/gaia combination?

James
