Did you try running not under sudo? In general you shouldn't need root to flash a device. Not sure if that's the problem though; other people have reported similar problems to you and I don't think they were using sudo.

Hi there,

I just got my Flame and want to flash it right away with FFOS 2.0. Downloaded
Flame_2.0_v180_1.zip and followed the instructions
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/Firefox_OS/Developer_phone_guide/Flame. My
machine is already set up for Android development so adb was installed and
working.

$ adb devices

$ sudo ./flash.sh

$ adb devices

Nothing ever happens on the device. I tried 3 different USB cables and I'm out
of ideas. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Patrick
