I've a discussion with Asa about user participation and feedback in portland workweek. He seems already has a plan to giving Flame to users and build a feedback app/channel with nightly version.
Once the channel is ready, we can ask committed users to test our beta version when we about send to QA test. For developer, once we commit a feature, we could apply a form and the feedback app will prompt to ask real users: how's going about this new (copy&paste edit) feature delivered yesterday? In parallel a lot of people including myself will be working on making the dogfooding experience better, including generating a more active source of feedback, but I wanted a slightly bigger gauge of what are the most important issues to focus on to have more people use the device on a daily basis, it is the only way we are going to generate enough real world usage in order to build a top quality product. Once I finally get my email sent to everyone@ and get a good amount of feedback, I will definitely summarise the responses here to generate some actionable work from it.
