yes I run the Firefox OS Bootstrap

curl -fsSL 
https://raw.github.com/mozilla-b2g/B2G/master/scripts/bootstrap-mac.sh
| bash

I installed adb through the homebrew formula android-platform-tools
and this also worked until now...

I'll try your hint :)
