Speaking of using the RequestSync API, is that what Mozilla recommends using 
now? I think most user-created apps are still using alarms for that 
functionality. But since the email app now uses it (bug 1098289), I'm guessing 
it's OK for all apps to use. If so, I think the MDN App Development FAQ page[1] 
and this[2] wiki page are out of date. But I don't know if there's a 
RequestSync API page that we could link to on them; the only usage example I 
see right now is on a mailing list thread[3]. Does an MDN page need to be 
written for the RequestSync API?
