Hi, Joshua Cranmer has worked on moving MozMill test suite used by C-C thunderbird u mozharness to share the common test infrastructure: it will be less burden on infrastructure maintenance, etc.
So this will be good to help reduce the burden on C-C TB maintenance. I think we are within reach of this admirable goal, but due to some difficulties, we seem to be stuck in the last mile of reaching that goal. (See the bug mentioned in the subject.) I wonder if a few more people can take a look and help Joshua. >From the look of latest comments, it seems a matter of adding several lines of code to some .py files, but parties involved are in the dark, it seems. (This is the new development, and infrastructure is complex.) The move proceeds at a very slow pace. Problem is that the unexpected issue that cropped up at the last moment disables the running of TB test suite on tryserver and thus many developers/contributors could not test their patches very well for the last week or so. Considering how close we are near the goal, backing out the patch is undesirable IMHO. Help will be appreciated.
