I skipped over this to look at some other things...mainly how to set the innerHTML...and I came across the nsIDOMNSHTMLElement. Not only can I use that to set the innerHTML of an element but it also has a Focus () method. I used that and it worked just fine. One thing I don't understand...what differentiates this one from nsIDOMHTMLElement besides the different methods/properies? What does the NS mean in the name? I'm still a newbie at this, thanks for putting up with my questions! :-)
