Hi,

Not quite sure if this is the appropriate place to ask, but I've been almost
everywhere with this specific problem. I'm trying to have links within a
Flash movie (formatted like html: <a href=http://www.disney.com
target="_blank">) open a new window. However: the popupblocker is triggered
and it seems the only way around it is to use physical buttons/movieclips
for these links.

Normally this 'workaround' wouldn't be a problem, but these html links are
part of a longer text that is not static, but dynamic; and thus it is
impossiblle to place invisible buttons correctly.

I've tried almost everything within my knowledge to get around this, but
cannot get it to work.

If any of you have a solution, it is highly appreciated. This morning I drew
up a comparative chart of the possibilities for opening a new window from
Flash. It can be found at
http://home.hccnet.nl/john.mulder/temp/flash_popup_test/index.html

Tnx,
John
