Hello,

I've just read a subject on this newsgroup about cross compile of
firefox 1.5.0.3 for ARM platform.
I am actually trying to do the same and I managed to cross compile
firefox without problems.
But I have an other problem, the installed version of firefox is 189
Mo big. I compared with my own running firefox installation and it's
no more than 20 Mo, with the same files. All the .so files are about 5
times bigger than in my x86 version. So I can't embed firefox on my
Arm development platform because it's too big for the flashdisk. My
questions are :

Is it normal that the so library files are enormous in comparaison to
the same x86 builds ? How can I make them smaller ?
Is there some files in the firefox directory that I can delete ? I
plan to use the GTKembed widget in my program.

Any clues are welcome,

Thanks
Arnaud Derasse
