I actually prefer the paginated scroll-snapping feature. I can remember that a certain app lives on 'page 3' and swipe twice from the top to get there; loose/open scrolling always required a 'zoning in' style approach to finding the icon your are looking for.
I can't believe we want to reintroduce an 'edit mode', this previously made organising my homescreen feel like a chore. What are the reasons for this? Homescreens should be a fun introduction to the personally of the OS. They should be playful and frictionless. IMO the new homescreen is a big stride in this direction. Thanks for the hard work on this everyone! :) *W I L S O N P A G E* Front-end Developer Firefox OS (Gaia) London Office Twitter: @wilsonpage IRC: wilsonpage On Mon, Oct 12, 2015 at 10:58 AM, Julien Wajsberg <jwajsb...@mozilla.com> wrote: > Le 11/10/2015 21:43, Fabrice Desré a écrit : > > I've been using the new homescreen for a few weeks now to follow its > > progress and also to try Pin The Web.
