It's weird, I don't recall talking to you or Christiane about this, maybe you heard it from someone else :) I know this is not the best way to intercept the API calls, but for now I am more focused on getting the Gecko-Gaia communication to work, after that I will look for better solutions, and maybe try to get that approved to make it into production. >From what you explained to me, the ideal solution would be system messages, so >even if the app isn't opened, it will still receive the message. I will go that way and see how I can implement it.
