Hi there everybody, I’ve been talking to Valentin today about B2G OS documentation, and the future of the Firefox OS documentation on MDN[0].
With work starting to go forward on the B2G OS soon (if not now), Valentine raised the question of where documentation about this project can go. Ideally, I’d like to see the existing documentation reused, rather than starting new things, but this would require a bit of reorganization. Ideally I think we should: 1. Rebrand all the FxOS docs to B2G,so we can make the current /Firefox_OS/ area of the site into a portal for all the knowledge around the B2G OS project. Hopefully I can find some people to help me clean up this area of the site, as I’m sure there is a whole bunch of stuff we ought to get rid of, or archive! 2. Move the Firefox OS TV docs[1] out of the Firefox OS area into its own section, as it will no longer fit under the B2G area after the proposed rebrand, despite being based on it; we’d probably put it under /Mozilla/, as it is a Mozilla project. It would make more sense to keep the docs modular like this, and then say “this is based on the B2G OS project”, if we need to make the connection clear. Thoughts? Who has got the authority to ok this?
