Otherwise, juicy details below. All information below applies *ONLY* to the *kanikani* Gaia branch and only affects the *pine* project tree. We had stopped building many of the apps already but we hadn't moved or stopped attempting to run tests for these. We moved all the applications that are not built as part of the core focus of the transition project. These apps are now in 'dead_apps' instead of 'apps'. You can add back any application from 'dead_apps' to the build config found here -- https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/master/build/config/phone/apps-engineering.list. You may also create a symbolic link if you wish to easily run all of the tests for the applications as well as enable the use of APP= on the command This will enable anyone that wants to resurrect these apps to build them with ease.
