Hi all,
When I asked Hanno some time ago if we were planning to do some game
that helps with getting more "Stumbler" data (or think about it as
"making stumbling more fun for everyone"), like Ingress does for
Google's geolocation database, he was hinting that we did think about
this but there's no good game idea going around yet.
Well, when I was relaxing at the spa on Monday, that topic crossed my
mind and suddenly a basic idea popped in and I let my thoughts wander
for a while to make a draft concept out of it.
It's going under the working title "Planet Fox" for me right now, and
the description is up at http://wiki.kairo.at/wiki/Planet_Fox
Note that this is just some rambling of my mind, nothing I plan to
implement, but if someone wants to pick it up, I'd be delighted (and
willing to participate in discussions). Also, consider this draft to be
under CC-BY-SA - if you want to hack it, do so - I'd expect that in case
of an implementation, it would be heavily massaged, refined and modified
anyhow. ;-)
(And if nobody picks it up, it was a nice mental exercise.)
Wouldn't it be cool if we could make "stumbling" a fun game for everyone?
