Hi,

FxStumbler is not really old, it's a working app, it doesn't look too nice though and the last real update was some time ago, but that all doesn't matter too much since the Server API hasn't changed much. If you want to help with the translation: Clochix started a transifex project a few days ago.

Another app for Firefox OS that might look a bit better:
http://pocz.org/ac/projects/mvdstumbler/mvdstumbler.html

Mvdstumbler is by Adrian Custer, who is active on this mailing list, too.

Just read though that he sadly canceled the project because of this discussion:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.geolocation/1CJJkVO9IfM
I don't think anybody here wanted to offend him so that he would do that, it was just a plain and friendly discussion that got out of hand...

I don't have a Firefox OS phone so I wasn't able to test these apps, but they should work just fine.

Regards,
Felix

Hi Asa

Some of our community (Mozilla Bangladesh) members are using FxStumbler [1]
on there Peak and Keon, I hope those who have or will have flame they can
also use this app. But this app is quite old, but it serves the basic
purpose.

We have about 5,000 Flames in the wild and that will grow by a couple
thousand more in the next month or two. It's got a GPS chip in it. It's
got a well aligned user base. Can we give them a stumbler app for helping
the geolocation services effort?
